Information
Ponderosa is a non-profit Christian camp located in northeast Alabama, dedicated to providing boys and girls with an unforgettable camp experience. Established in 1947 and operating from our current location since 1976, we offer one-week overnight summer camp sessions for ages 7-17. Our mission is to help young people grow in their faith and experience Christ in a transformative way. We believe the Bible is the true and authoritative Word of God, guiding our lives and actions. Through our camp programs, we create a space where kids and teens can learn about the Bible and deepen their relationship with God, all while enjoying an adventure-filled summer. Additionally, our property is available for groups to rent, offering a perfect setting for retreats and camps.

We are set up to handle the following group sizes in the various seasons:
During the summer, we can take care of up to 130 guests. In the spring, we can accommodate 130 guests. Our winter capacity is 130. Finally, in fall, we have enough room for 130 guests.

50 miles southwest of Chattanooga, TN. 2 hours from Birmingham, Huntsville, or Atlanta.
