Information
Located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in western NC, South Mountain Christian Camp hosts a wide variety of camps, retreats, outings and events. We offer six, one-week residential summer camp programs for boys and girls 7-15 years of age. We provide retreat facilities year round including lodging for up to 178 people, meeting space, full-service cafeteria, gym, game room, pool, and many outdoor recreational activities. We also operate leadership training and wilderness camping excursions for teens. In the fall, we operate three hands-on nature science programs designed for 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade school field trips. Our ropes course programs are available to all ages including team-building low ropes, character-building high ropes, indoor rock climbing wall and giant swing. Additionally, our 18-hole disc golf course, 7-acre fishing pond, and hiking trails are open to the public for a minimal fee.

We are set up to handle the following group sizes in the various seasons:
During the summer, we can take care of up to 100 guests. In the spring, we can accommodate 100 guests. Our winter capacity is 80. Finally, in fall, we have enough room for 80 guests.
We also offer the following special activities and features:
18-hole disc golf course, sand volleyball court, canoes kayaks and paddleboats, ga-ga ball, 9-square in the Air, arts and crafts, hiking trails, scenic overlook deck
