For over 40 years, Camp of the Rising Son, a ministry of French Camp Academy, has offered Christ-centered summer camp programs that engages kids in creation, building relationships, fun activities, and adventure! We offer Day camp for ages 6-9; Over-night camp for ages 7-13; and Teen programs for ages 13-17 including Adventure Trips, Camp Intern Adventure and Teen Week. Family Camp offered Labor Day weekend!

We are set up to handle the following group sizes in the various seasons:

During the summer, we can take care of up to 220 guests. In the spring, we can accommodate 220 guests. Our winter capacity is 32. Finally, in fall, we have enough room for 220 guests.

We also offer the following special activities and features:

CRS is accredited by the American Camp Association to assure the highest standard in safety. Large lake with sailing, canoeing, fishing and swimming. Beautiful covered equestrian center.

Location

In French Camp, MS just off the Natchez Trace Parkway mile marker 180. 90 miles north of Jackson, MS and 90 miles south of Tupelo, MS.
