Information
Although Higher Ground serves all campers of all ages, they have carved out a special niche as a camp whose heart is set on helping fatherless children and single moms. Higher Ground aims to share God the Father’s love with all the children who attend camp each summer. As part of this approach, Higher Ground places an emphasis on developing deep, meaningful and lasting connections with both campers and staff.

We are set up to handle the following group sizes in the various seasons:
During the summer, we can take care of up to 110 guests. In the spring, we can accommodate 110 guests. Our winter capacity is 0. Finally, in fall, we have enough room for 0 guests.

40 miles south of Mackinaw Bridge on Thumb Lake.
