Information

The Highland Lakes Camp and Conference Center is a Christian retreat that offers a diverse range of meeting spaces for groups of all sizes, accommodating anywhere from 20 to 1,200 participants. With 10 bunkhouses capable of housing up to 808 guests and 39 motel-style rooms, we provide a variety of comfortable lodging options. Our camp is packed with exciting recreational activities, featuring both low and high ropes courses that soar over six stories, a zip line, a large pond, a swimming pool, lake activities, and much more.

Recognized as one of Texas's premier hands-on educational facilities, the Highland Lakes Outdoor Learning Center welcomes over 4,000 young students from local schools each year. Our summer camps are designed for children, preteens, and youth from across the state, offering engaging experiences that blend meaningful worship with fun recreational activities.

Throughout the year, we host a wide array of events, including men’s and women’s conferences, family retreat weekends, youth pastor retreats, and college retreats, among others.

In the summer, Highland Lakes Camp hires staff members who are dedicated to serving and discipling participants. These staff members also have the opportunity to embark on a mission trip beyond our nation's borders to share the hope of Christ with the world.

Volunteers are essential to the mission of Highland Lakes Camp, providing opportunities for individuals of all ages to contribute. Whether you wish to engage for a day, a week, a month, a year, or even a lifetime, we are always excited to help you find a way to get involved.

We are set up to handle the following group sizes in the various seasons:

During the summer, we can take care of up to 850 guests. In the spring, we can accommodate 800 guests. Our winter capacity is 800. Finally, in fall, we have enough room for 800 guests.

Highland Lakes Camps has a camp for all ages. All Christian denomination and non-denominations are welcome to participate. Churches from across Texas and other states travel to the shores of Lake Travis to enjoy the beautiful Hill Country and have a life changing experience. Special events are offered year round, so you can always find an event that you can truly look forward to.
