Camps Intern - Year Long

Do you love Jesus? Love the outdoors? Do you feel called to a career in Christian Camping, and desire year-round camping ministry experience to prepare you for the next level?

CRISTA Camps 12-month Internship is for you!

You will have the opportunity to learn hands on about retail, marketing, sales, staff recruitment, housekeeping, and guest services. You will be trained to lead adventure activities, like high ropes, paintball, dirt-bike trail riding, horse trail riding, and running the waterfront.

You will have the opportunity to gain training and certification in:
- Trail Bike Riding/Teaching
- Paintball
- High Ropes Elements and Rock Wall
- Lifeguard certification, good for 2 yrs.
- First Aid and CPR training
- Site Specific Level 1 Challenge Course Training
- Food handlers permit
- Opportunity to attend the CCCA NW Sectional Conference for spiritual and vocational growth and development!

At CRISTA Ministries we have a passion to develop young leaders. Our desire is to help you fulfill God's calling in your life, whether that is full time camping ministry, or some other vocational calling. Our internship staff are devoted to your vocational development and spiritual growth.

As part of your professional development, we will help you with resume writing, interviewing tips, social media presence and CCCA connecting. Our goal is to not "use you" for 12 months and then say goodbye, but we desire to walk alongside you for the long haul. Our internship staff will continue to be a resource for you long after your time here at CRISTA Camps is over.

The 12 month paid CRISTA Camps intern program is designed for people who are deeply committed to Jesus Christ and desire to learn about creating and providing an environment where staff, volunteers, and guests can experience Christ.

We believe this will be a life-changing experience where each intern will grow spiritually, personally, relationally, and professionally! You will come away more energized, trained and prepared for a lifetime of service. This is an action-oriented Vocational Internship, providing opportunities to develop servant leadership skills that will transfer to any future business, leadership or ministry opportunity.

CRISTA Camps is committed to making the year-round internship both challenging and rewarding. Much will be asked of you, and much will be invested into you as we serve Christ in a community of believers.

Interns will be involved in Bible studies, small groups, worship, sharing and fellowship, all while living and practicing servant leadership at Miracle Ranch. Interns must be willing to commit to all aspects of the program which will focus on Christ, discipleship, community and career.
