Horsemanship Intern- Year Long

Do you desire a career in running a horse program at a Christian camp? Do you love horses, children, and Jesus? Our equine focused internship at Miracle Ranch, Port Orchard, Washington, is for those with a desire to use their passion for horses as a way to share the love of Jesus with others.

* This is a twelve-month, paid internship program, with the possibility of a second
year for qualified candidates. All horse interns will have the opportunity to go through a CHA Instructor Certification.

Along with assisting in the management and care of our herd, you will gain experience in teaching both group and private riding lessons, leading trail rides and assisting in therapeutic riding sessions, both for those with disabilities and for at-risk youth. Opportunities to pursue PATH or IRD Certifications are available.

A Christ-centered camp nestled in the fir trees of the Kitsap Peninsula, Miracle Ranch is rich with one-of-a-kind experiences like horsemanship, paintball, rock climbing, swimming, and more. A week at camp gives kids' memories to last a lifetime and may even change their life!

- Previous horse experience is required.

The 12 month paid CRISTA Camps intern program is designed for people who are deeply committed to Jesus Christ and desire to learn about creating and providing an environment where staff, volunteers, and guests can experience Christ.

2024/2025 applications are now accepted for September 2024!

We believe this will be a life-changing experience where each intern will grow spiritually, personally, relationally, and professionally! You will come away more energized, trained and prepared for a lifetime of service. This is an action-oriented vocational Internship, providing opportunities to develop servant leadership skills that will transfer to any future business, leadership or ministry opportunity.
