A long standing tradition at BBC is for campers and counselors to cook their meals over a fire. Cooks are in charge of preparing crates for cabin groups to take to their camp site. In addition cooks prepare meals for support staff, snacks, and special treats throughout the summer. Our cooks must work well with others, have experience cooking for groups, be disciplined in following a menu and make some good camp food that keeps campers coming back for more (don’t worry, camp food is easy to make).

Why work at Bethany Birches Camp:

At Bethany Birches Camp we have a passion for young people that don't have church experience. Ministry is exciting, and we find that often the summer staff grow in their faith as much or more than the campers as they work through how to do ministry in this context. Located in the Green Mountains of Vermont the property is beautiful! Most staff love the crazy and creative programming and remark at the sense of community they feel.
