Program Director*The Brethren Retreat at Shipshewana Lake has been serving youth, adults and families for 100+ years on the south side of Shipshewana Lake. We are seeking a key member to grow our year-round & part time staff team. The position of Program Director carries primary responsibility for planning and carrying out all summer camp programs and most retreats. We are seeking a dynamic candidate who connects well with people (people magnet) and willing to seek out new sources of camper families. A qualified applicant would have demonstrated a consistent and growing faith journey in their desire to serve Jesus Christ, obtained a B.S in a related field, (ie: recreation, marketing, and youth ministry), acquired experiences in an Outdoor Ministry setting. Primary responsibilities include; develop, promote, recruit, implement, and manage programming for summer and non-summer months as well as offer hospitality for guest ministry groups. A willingness for community engagement to develop relationships for ministry growth is also expected. Time: Full-Time Year Round |
