Internship - Special Projects (vol. with Stipend)

The special projects/forestry internship will give you hands-on experience working on special projects assigned by the Executive Director and/or Special Projects Coordinator. This role will involve small projects around the campus and will include forest management and fuel reduction around our 400 acre campus. From painting signs/rails, camp beautification, and touch-up work, to helping clear trails and prevent fires here at camp, this internship will have you working on a variety of projects during your time with us.

Would you like to learn new skills on the job? Are you considering a career in Christian Camping? Do you wish you could try it out before jumping in? Now you can! Hartland Christian Camp offers multiple volunteer internships. These 3-12 month internships will have you learning skills through a hands-on approach. We are currently looking for 1-3 individuals for our internship program.

Interns will also assist with our recreation activities while guest groups are on site.
Housing will be provided along with meals whenever guest groups are in, and essential food items will also be available between camps.

Due to housing limitations, internships are limited to single applicants and will likely include shared housing with other interns of the same gender.
Interns will earn an optional certificate of completion upon completion of the program. While this is a volunteer internship, Hartland will be providing a $500 stipend to help offset living and travel expenses during your stay. Housing/Utilities and most* meals are included in the internship.
