Food Service Specialist/ Kitchen Manager
Come Join the energetic, supportive, hard working team at Camp Pinewood in the picturesque mountain town of McCall Idaho. We are looking for a Food Service Specialist/ Kitchen manager which is a vital part of the ministry here at Camp Pinewood. The Food Service Specialist /Kitchen manager will be responsible for all food preparation and sanitation of the kitchen and dining room, providing safe, quality, good tasting food for the guests and campers at Camp Pinewood. Food Service Specialist / Kitchen Manager Responsibilities are as follows: manage volunteers/summer staff and be responsible for the following: Create New Menus. Order all Items needed for Menus/ meals. Cooking all meals for guests. Kitchen clean up and sanitation. Properly maintain all required documentation related to food services and sanitation. Dining room service House keeping responsibilities at slower times of year.
Qualifications needed for the position, Experience cooking for large groups in an industrial style kitchen. Experience managing a food service operation Experience managing/ training/working with volunteers Current Food service managers license

Agreement to the Camp Pinewood “Statement of Faith.” Experience in serving at your church; (leading, teaching, discipling). Commitment to spiritual growth: Submit to spiritual accountability by regularly attending a local church that is like minded to our association churches. (1 Corinthians 121:2; Acts 2:42-47; Hebrews 10:25; Proverbs 22:2; 29:13). Walk worthy of your calling to please God: Ephesians 4:1-6; Colossians 1:10 Commit to regular devotions; both personal and in the camp staff team setting (Hebrews 4:12, 1, Timothy 4:4-5, 2 Timothy 3:16, Colossians 3:16-17). Develop and continue in a daily habit of prayer (Matt 6:5-14, 1 Thes. 5:17, James 5:13). Practice and protect an atmosphere of unity (Phil 2:1-11, Psalm 133:1, 1 Peter 3:8) and grace (Eph 4:32, Colossians 4:6, James 1:19, Proverbs 15:26; 16:24; 22:11) amongst the staff and guests. Maintain a teachable spirit (Hebrews 5:11-14, Romans 6:15, Galatians 6:6; Psalm 25:9, Proverbs 1:1-8; 3:1-6). Demonstrate a consistent work ethic (Acts 20:35, 2 Timothy 2:1-7, Proverbs 16:3; 18:9; 28:19).
Pay includes: Salary and housing on campus and some meals
Time: Full-Time Year Round
