Program DirectorCamp Istrouma was founded in 1958 by the Baton Rouge/New Orleans districts of the Louisiana United Methodist Conference. Camp Istrouma operates on about 150 acres, located right outside Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Istrouma serves around 1,200 campers a summer and we host retreats/events year round. Camp Istrouma is looking for an experienced leader to serve as its Program Director. The Program Director plays a vital role in Camp Istrouma's summer camp programs and other Camp Istrouma sponsored events. The Program Director is responsible for designing and executing our three summer camp programs (overnight camp, day camp, and LITE programs), plus other Camp Istrouma sponsored events. The Program Director is also responsible for summer staff recruitment, and summer staff development. The Program Director reports to the Executive Director but will also work with and communicate with Camp Istrouma's Board of Directors. Time: Full-Time Year Round |
