Maintenance/Groundskeeping

POSITION SUMMARY DESCRIPTION: We are looking for Maintenance Assistants/Groundskeepers to join our staff. The position will require individuals to maintain all aspects of facilities and grounds at camp.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Maintain all buildings, residences, vehicles, equipment, grounds, and any associated utilities on the property.
• Open, close, and inspection of facilities before and after guest group usage
• Organization, upkeep, and proper cleaning of all camp tools and Maintenance Shop
• Mowing, weed trimming, limb trimming, and other landscaping activities
• Changing light bulbs, batteries, and air filters on a detailed schedule
• Light plumbing, electrical, and carpentry projects
• Vehicle and small engine repair and preventative maintenance
• Picking up and transporting trash from facilities to dumpsters
• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Ability to safely use power tools, hand tools, some heavy equipment, and many types of vehicles
• Ability to operate lawncare equipment
• Landscaping and vehicle maintenance skills preferred, but not required
• Ability to operate ATV and/or UTV preferred, but not required
• Ability to prioritize daily tasks to remain efficient and focused on guest needs
• Strong work ethic
• Above average attention to detail
