Waterfront Crew

POSITION SUMMARY DESCRIPTION: The Waterfront Crew is responsible for managing and maintaining the pond.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Facilitate pond activities including swimming, kayaking, water slide, blob, and rope swing.
• Monitor the weather to make sure it is safe to be in the water.
• Surveying a body of water and conducting rescues to help weak or injured swimmers get to safety.
• Using knowledge of first aid to save lives.
• Ability to enforce the pond rules as needed.
• Set-up and clean up before and after pond activities.
o Work with Facilities to make sure nothing needs to be fixed around or in the pond.
• Make sure all campers wear a life jacket, no matter their age.
• Help adventure element crew with activities.
• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Actively live and practice the Christian faith and live a lifestyle in accordance with the Statement of Faith and Beliefs detailed on the Beartooth Christian Camp website.
• Lifeguard Certification
• Ability to be trained and certified on adventure elements.
• Ability to maintain a safe work environment.
• Maintain a friendly, caring, and serving attitude.
• A high attention to detail.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Ability to manage camper behavior.
• CPR and First Aid Certification (provided)
• Criminal Background Check (provided)
