I work at Camp Ao-Wa-Kiya because its a place where lives are transformed, mine included. Every summer, I have the privilege of watching campers experience the love of Christ, build lifelong friendships, and step out of their comfort zones. Theres something powerful about creating a space where kids and teens can unplug from the world, connect with God, and discover who He has made them to be. For me, camp is more than just a job, it's a calling. Whether I'm helping run activities, sharing in devotions, or just listening to a camper's story, I know I'm part of something eternal. The work can be challenging, but the joy of seeing lives impacted for Christ makes it all worth it. At Ao-Wa-Kiya, we're not just a team; we're a family. We support each other, grow together, and share a mission that goes beyond the summer. That's why I work here, because it's where God has called me to serve, grow, and make a difference.
