ENRICH Counselor/Coordinator

Purpose: The purpose of America’s Keswick is to model and teach biblical victorious living in Christ Jesus, to provide an environment in which biblical life transformation takes place and to foster active personal involvement in the local church.

Department Purpose: The Addiction Recovery Ministry of America’s Keswick is a spiritual and biblically based recovery ministry for those in bondage to addiction and life-dominating sins.

Position Purpose: The purpose of the Enrich Counselor/Coordinator is to minister to the wives, ex-wives, fiancés, and girlfriends of the men in the Colony of Mercy, along with coordinating the care of the husbands of residents of Barbara’s Place.

ESSENTIAL COMPONENTS

The one holding this position must be a mature Christian, able to effectively lead and demonstrate Christ-likeness personally and professionally. It is imperative that this person always conduct themselves in a manner as to uphold a solid testimony in harmony with traditional, conservative, evangelical values. She must completely adhere to the doctrinal position of America’s Keswick and seek to live the principles of God’s Word. It is understood that failure to maintain a high standard of personal testimony will be grounds for dismissal.

The one holding this position must also minister using the bible in harmony with traditional evangelical values, fully adhering to the doctrinal position of America’s Keswick and its counseling guidelines.

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in counseling, social work, addiction, or other related field or the equivalent experience within Christian-based addiction recovery and/or couples counseling.

This position requires a minimum of 2 years of biblical counseling or the equivalent,
Solid verbal and non-verbal communication skills are necessary to perform the duties of this position.
Strong computer skills are required with MS Office Suite and other proprietary programs.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Counselor/Coordinators will job-share the following duties, though some duties may be split up and individually assigned:

Provide direction of the ENRICH program (formerly Women of Character)
Onboard new clients
Provide a minimum of 8 individual, biblically based counseling sessions to women in the program (in person, online, or by phone)
Provide couples counseling in tandem with the Colony of Mercy chaplains.
Participate in monthly Families for Christ weekends, including leading a support group for women, fellowshipping at meals with couples, couples counseling, and leading a co-ed processing group.
Provide aftercare support and/or counseling to graduates of ENRICH/Women of Character
Answer inquiries via phone/email about ENRICH
Attend Manager’s and Addiction Recovery weekly meeting
Promote ENRICH at certain group events on campus
Manage the ENRICH Facebook group
Other duties as assigned, including teaching classes or seminars
Perform other miscellaneous duties as required.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS: This position reports to the Director of Women’s Addiction Recovery.

HOURS

This position is part-time.
This role will require some nights and weekends.
