Food Service Director
SUMMARY OF POSITION: Create an environment of ministry by meeting the nutritional and dietary needs of all individuals, with an age appropriate menu to provide an enjoyable dining experience of culinary excellence. This leadership position will strive to establish God honoring service of meals that are excellent in quality and quantity, while leading the food service team in an environment consistent with the values of Grace Adventures. This salary-exempt position reports to the Vice President of Operations.
SKILLS: Management: Ensure that staff know and understand the mission, vision, and core values of Grace Adventures and the role that food service holds in the organization as a whole. Also, manage staff so that they carry out delivery of services as described below and in the operations manual. Administration Organization: Maintain inventory, records, and procedures (operations manual) so that a person with some training can meet the needs of guests.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage staffing, volunteers, budget, inventory, food quality/nutrition, menu planning, and front and back of house for two campus kitchens.
