Adventure Lead

We are looking for 2 staff who love the great outdoors to lead our programs that center on adventure and are based out of both Camp Lutherhaven and Shoshone Mountain Retreat! These programs include TREK, Explorers, and other counseling roles as needed. As an Adventure Lead, you must feel comfortable being away from the main camp locations, leading adventure activities with junior and senior high campers, and facilitating bible studies and worship. The two Adventure Leads will work together all summer taking campers on off-site trips and facilitating activities while on-site. You serve as both the counselors for the kids and will work with Full-Time Staff directly as you navigate the programmatic details of the week.

Must be 21 years of age or older and be at least Wilderness First Aid certified (or hold a higher certification) or willing to become certified. Lifeguard certification is preferred.

Off-site adventures include: climbing, rafting, sailing, kayaking, and biking
