Area Leads

We are looking for 6 experienced camp leaders to work with our Full-Time Staff as Area Leads overseeing a specific area of camp, the daily tasks within that area, and the staff working in that area. The six areas are Kitchen, Hospitality, Media and Retail, Waterfront, Recreation, and Challenge Course. As the Area Lead (for example: Waterfront Area Lead or Recreation Area Lead) you are responsible for supervising, mentoring, and supporting the Camp Staff serving in your area. It is your responsibility to ensure the things that need to be done in your area on a given day are being completed and the functioning of your area continuously improves.

Area Leads will serve in their area at least one shift per day (there is an AM and PM shift for each area each day). Area Leads may end up serving in their area all day if necessary, Area Leads may be able to swap with other Area Leads to serve shifts in other areas. Applicants will give their area preferences in their interview but ultimately the ministry’s needs will determine which roles are offered.
