ABOUT AMERICA’S KESWICK: America’s Keswick is a ministry where biblical teaching is used to cultivate a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ through Addiction Recovery, Conferences, Retreats, Events, and Outreach.
The purpose of America’s Keswick is to model and teach biblical victorious living in Christ Jesus, to provide an environment in which biblical life transformation takes place, and to foster active personal involvement in the local church.
DEPARTMENT PURPOSE: The purpose of the Programming Department is to provide an excellent conference atmosphere and experience for all guests. It seeks to accomplish this through careful planning of the schedule, speakers, musicians and optional activities. This enables the ministry to create the maximum potential for spiritual impact and social enjoyment of America’s Keswick.
POSITION SUMMARY: The Program Coordinator will provide support to the Program Director and assist with the execution of programming events, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation of all activities related to conferences and other events.
ESSENTIAL COMPONENTS:
The one holding this position must be a mature Christian, able to effectively lead and demonstrate Christ-likeness. It is imperative that this person always conduct themselves in a manner as to uphold a solid testimony in harmony with traditional, conservative, evangelical values. He or she must completely adhere to the doctrinal position of America’s Keswick and seek to live the principles of God’s Word. It is understood that failure to maintain a high standard of personal testimony will be grounds for dismissal. Educationally, this person should possess a high school diploma or equivalent required; an associate’s degree or coursework in Event Planning, Ministry, or related fields is preferred. No prior experience required, but any internship or volunteer experience in event planning, hospitality, or ministry is a plus. Solid communication and organizational skills required. Proficiency in computers and in Planning Center, Asana, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Ability to multitasks and work efficiently in a fast paced, team environment.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist the Program Director as assigned in coordinating events and programs, including preparing materials, communicating with others and helping to organize logistics such as food and supplies. Provide administrative support to the Program Department by helping to maintain records and assist with budget tracking and reporting. Provide planning support to the Program Department by working with the Program Director and the Director of Strategic Initiatives to forecast the framework of upcoming events. Assist with organizing and managing helpers during events, ensuring proper scheduling and providing them with necessary information and resources. Assist in collecting feedback from attendees and help assess events for areas of improvement through surveys or other methods. Assist the Program Director with special projects or tasks as needed, contributing to the growth and improvement of the department’s programming. Other miscellaneous duties as requested by the Program Director.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS: The Program Coordinator reports to the Program Director and works closely with other members of the team to support the smooth execution of all ministry events.
HOURS: This is a part time position of approximately 20 hours per week. Due to the nature of Programming, this position will need to work a variety of hours and days, including nights and weekends to accomplish the job responsibilities. This position has the option to work remotely on occasion, with approval from the Program Director.

Ability to stand, walk, or sit at a computer for an extended period. Ability to see and hear within normal range Finger and hand dexterity to manipulate objects
