In-Base Wilderness Support

Spend your summer on the edge of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness!

During the summer, AC leads guided canoe camping trips for youth groups, adult groups, and families. We hire in-base staff to help keep camp running “back at home.” In-base staff help guides prepare gear and food for trips, maintain facilities, perform housekeeping, participate in the staff community, share in the mission of encouraging campers to take next steps in Christian faith, and carry out other duties as assigned. In-base staff don’t guide trips but still get to join on the staff training expedition. Against the backdrop of the beautiful and rugged Boundary Waters Wilderness, a summer at AC provides opportunity for adventure, community, life changing growth, and a deeper connection to God and His creation.

Adventurous Christians is affiliated with the Evangelical Covenant Church, but ministers to a variety of Christian denominations. In order to succeed, staff must desire to be challenged physically, mentally, and spiritually, and to work with people and share their Christian faith with them.

We are currently looking for summer staff for 5/26/2025-8/13/2025
