Marketing & Media Coordinator Status: Full-time Salaried Position Reports to: Executive Director Workplace: Primarily on site in Cedar Lake, IN Organization Summary Cedar Lake Ministries (CLM) is an Evangelical non-profit organization located in Cedar Lake, Indiana. Our desire is to glorify God by assisting the local church in Building Strong Godly Families through our creative camp programs, events, retreats, conference center services, and RV park. We partner with ministries, churches, schools, denominations, and families in Northwest Indiana, the greater Chicagoland area, nationally, and internationally to impact lives for the Kingdom. As we fulfill our mission of “providing a life-changing environment for evangelism and spiritual growth,” our goal is to spiritually impact the lives of children, adults, and seniors. Each year approximately 12,000 people visit Cedar Lake Ministries. Position Summary The Marketing & Media Coordinator will work to maximize the ministry’s brand recognition, program and event participation through developing marketing and communication strategies for multiple departments and by promoting specific events, services, and the overall ministry. The ideal candidate will have skills in marketing and media strategy, along with the ability to use and improve multiple marketing and media platforms. General Marketing and Media Summary: The Marketing and Media Coordinator will be responsible for the consistency and growth of the CLM brand through brand management, creation and implementation of brand strategy, and standardization of external communications. Website Management Social Media Management Advertising Brand Continuity and Growth Gathering and Sharing Stories of Impact Style Guide Creation and Implementation Digital and Physical Signage Manage and Meet Budget Guidelines for Marketing Communication Summary: The Marketing and Media Coordinator will work with the Executive Director and other department management to develop and create ministry communications. Direct Mail Campaigns Email Blasts Quarterly Publications Gathering and Sharing Stories of Impact / Testimonials Donation Campaigns leveraging social media platforms, website, etc.
Program & Event Marketing Summary: The Marketing and Media Coordinator will manage the promotion of Cedar Lake Ministries’ programming, fundraising, and community events. Marketing campaigns will be created to promote each event. This includes the capture of videos, photos, feedback, etc. during the event and promoting the brand through post-event recaps. Brochures Landing Pages for Individual Events Online Ticket Purchasing Management Social Media Advertising and Event Updates Email Blasts Capturing Events for Promotional Purposes (video, photo, testimonials) Qualifications and Education Requirements The preferred candidate is one who has an active and growing relationship with Jesus Christ, that is active in his / her church, teachable, and a team player that operates with integrity at all times. Education: A Bachelor’s degree in marketing and or media is preferred however, individuals without a degree but with relevant prior experience are welcome to apply.

Preferred Technical Skills and Experience: Microsoft Office Suite Premiere Pro, Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator WordPress (or similar web hosting/blogging platform) Text In Church (or similar mass-texting platform) Google Docs, Sheets, Drive, and Forms Survey Monkey Robly PPC Advertising SEO/SEP/SEM Management
