Be a part of helping people experience Christ, Creation and Community with the Dakotas-Minnesota Area United Methodist Camp and Retreat Ministries. We have six outstanding Christian camp & retreat centers. Three locations are ministries of the Minnesota Conference of The United Methodist Church: 1. Koronis Ministries/Camp Koronis is located on the shore of beautiful Lake Koronis in central Minnesota. This growing ministry was founded in 1921, and now serves over 5000 people annually through retreats and traditional summer camps. 2. KoWaKan Adventures is a wilderness canoe base in the Boundary Waters of northern MN with a strong canoe expedition program. 3. Northen Pines Camp and Retreat Center is a year-round camp and retreat destination situated on a 48-acre site on the southeast shore of Fish Hook Lake in north central Minnesota. Three locations are ministries of the Dakotas Conference of The United Methodist Church: 1. Lake Poinsett Camp and Living Waters Retreat Center - Adventure. Gatherings. Fellowship. It all happens at here. Located in Eastern South Dakota, we offer Christian camps with biblical based development and guidance that is loving and Christ-centered. We seek to be a place of refuge and celebration. 2. Storm Mountain Center is a secluded 247-acre wilderness retreat and summer camp located 20 minutes outside of Rapid City in a rocky mountain valley of the Black Hills. Our site was originally staked as twelve gold mining claims in the 1880s and one of the original mines is still accessible on Spring Creek. 3. Wesley Acres Camp & Retreat Center extends hospitality (Hebrews 13) to groups and organizations as a means of showing God's unfailing love to all the world (John 3:16-17). True to our Wesleyan heritage, we are ecumenically minded, welcoming our sisters and brothers from other denominations to be in ministry with us.
