Operations Assistant

Camp Bighorn is an outdoor adventure camp that seeks to embody the love of Jesus and develop Christ-honoring leaders. Bighorn’s core values are based on Matthew 22:37-39, which includes loving God and loving others. In order to meet the needs of our guests and staff, Camp Bighorn seeks to provide excellent hospitality by keeping the facilities, grounds, and shop in top condition. The Operations Director will coordinate the priority of work projects for the Operations Assistant, which may include working independently or with other team members.

Required Qualifications:
- Ability and desire to work in a camp setting
- Good character, integrity, ability and enthusiasm
- Multi-task oriented, energetic, organized, and self motivated
- Ability to work with various personalities

Position Responsibilities:
- Assist with the regular maintenance of Camp buildings
- Aid in grounds upkeep
- Support with emergency cleaning or maintenance projects, as needed
- Communicate all maintenance repairs to the Operations Director
- Communicate facilities or grounds needs supply to the Site Manager
- Communicate shop equipment or supply needs to the Shop Manager
- Assist with special projects

General Camp Bighorn Responsibilities:
As a member of the Bighorn Community you will be expected to:
- Engage in regular times of Scripture reading and prayer
- Participate in weekly staff meetings, devos, ongoing trainings, and occasional retreats
- Invest in relationships with the staff, campers, students, and interns
- Maintain a clean professional appearance when on site at Camp Bighorn
- Participate in Turnaround, dishes, kitchen help, retreat hosting, and programming
- Drive a 15-passenger van for programmed events, as needed
- Support Raise required salary by seeking churches, organizations, and individuals to partner with you in ministry

Time:  Full-Time Year Round
Salary:  Must Raise Full Support
